The Slayton library was the recipient of a 12-computer lab grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in 2001. The computers are available for public use during regular library hours and to groups by special arrangement during regular as well as after hours. 

The library also has wireless Internet access available for its patrons use.

Patrons may use the library's computer lab once they have read both the Slayton Public Library's Internet Policy, and Rules of Conduct.  Patrons under the age of 18 must have a parent's signature on the Internet Access Agreement and patrons who are age 8 and under must have an adult accompany them when they are in the lab or using the computers.
