| Public Internet Policy 1. You need a valid library card to use the computer. 2. Before using the internet, you must read and sign the Internet Procedure Policy. 3. You may reserve computer access for one hour from the time the library opens to one hour before closing. 4. There is no charge for using the computer. The charge for using the printer is $.20 for each black and white copy and $1.00 for each color copy. 5. The library reserves the right to deny access to anyone who violates the laws of common courtesy and respect due other users and equipment. Illegal use of the internet, including violation of copyrights or license agreements, is prohibited. 6. The library is not responsible for data loss or program loss. 7. Parents and guardians are responsible for their children’s activities on the computer, including the internet. 8. You may not alter or attach equipment to the library’s hardware. 9. You are financially responsible for any damage to the library’s hardware and/or software while in use, including he cost of repair or replacement. 10. Please report any problems of software or hardware to the front desk.
