Meet Laura Ingalls Wilder

(Performed by Actress Melanie Stringer)

Sunday, October 9th at 2 PM
at the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum
Walnut Grove

In this highly interactive program, Mrs. Wilder, also known as Melanie Stringer, relates stories of her real life experiences of life on the prairie in 1896 as told from Laura’s perspective in an unscripted interpretation of Wilder’s experiences. Every Meet Laura Ingalls Wilder program offers a research-based, first-person, interactive history lesson to students and Wilder fans of all ages. Programs feature original research, hands-on artifact displays, period-authentic clothing and much more.

Mrs. Wilder’s appearances are made possible through the state’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund, which dedicates funding to preserve Minnesota’s arts and cultural heritage.
