Welcome to the Tyler Library website!

Check our "Children" page for the Summer Reading Program schedule. We've had lots of fun programs so far. We will have our final summer program in the band shell park on August 19 at 11 AM. Some of our programs have been made possible by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

Join us August 18 at 2 PM when author ANNE IPSEN will give a book talk at the library. Anne writes about Danish heritage and her books will be on view and available for purchase. She will also speak at the Danebod Fall Meeting. (Anne's visit is sponsored by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.)

Our Young Adult WRITING WORKSHOP with Leah Tuszynski took place on July 8 and 15 at the library - 6-8 PM. Young writers talked about writing, wrote a short story, read everyone's stories, and critiqued them at the second session. We enjoyed lots of snacks!

Our evening at the Tyler Senior Center with "Potluck Paradise" cookbook authors Rae and Debbie was an enjoyable success. We learned to make strawberry jam and talked about '50s food. Many stayed after the program for coffee and homemade cookies and a sample of the delicious jam.

We had a drawing on June 23 - Tyler's "Taste of Tyler" evening for a "Potluck Paradise" cookbook. And the winner is... DON MULLOY!

New books are pouring in and we are making space for them. If you are looking for Tony Hillerman or Iris Johansen, you can find them in our work/coffee room!
