Welcome to the Slayton Public Library The
Slayton Public
Library was organized in 1940 by the Monday Study Club and was housed
in two locations before moving to its present home on Slayton's main
street. The library is a member of the Plum Creek Library System, a
nine-county, 25 member federated library system. The library has a 12-station computer lab for public use during regular hours of operation, and is also equipped with wireles Internet service. The computer lab can be reserved for use by groups when the library is closed. Also available is the Community Room that can be reserved for meetings and other gatherings. Come in for a visit, and stay awhile! View images of the library's new children's room murals. Artwork created by Greg Preslicka The Big Picture Murals 2011 Project made possible through Minnesota Legacy Arts grant funds. |
