Adopt a Book At the Library!

If you would like to offer direct support to the library’s collection, the Adopt Program gives you the perfect opportunity. You can choose to adopt a book, magazine, DVD or any other material for the library. It is a wonderful way to honor or remember someone special in your life. With your donation, the library will buy a book or any other material to be placed in the library, with a book label indicating both the donor and honoree. For example, if you’d like to make a lasting memorial to a member of the family who loved to garden, we can buy a gardening book. Or if you want to honor the birth of a child, we can buy a children’s book. Are you done reading the latest bestseller? Donate it to the library to share with others. You may also choose to adopt any book in the current collection. This program is the perfect opportunity to keep the collection at your library growing.  Please contact library staff for more information.

Read and Share Magazine Exchange

Done reading those magazines? Think it's a waste to just throw them out each month? Bring them to the library and share them with other magazine readers. In each Jackson County library, there's a table where you can leave the magazines that you're finished with, and while you're there, browse through the magazines that others have left....maybe you'll find something interesting.
