Genealogy

The Adrian Branch Library has a lot of genealogical materials on file. To get the most out of your research, please contact us.  We will do lookups and respond to queries.  If we do not have materials on hand, we will do our best to direct you to other local resources.  Please give us a list of surnames, if known.

Surnames

Below is a partial list of the surnames of local pioneers and their descendants.  Any name followed by  (m.) indicates that there is a substantial biography for that name, but located under the name of the spouse.  Most of our history books are not indexed.  When requesting information about any person/surname, please include all surnames, possible dates [date ranges] and towns/townships, if known.  The names on the list reflect those families in the Western half of Nobles county.  We will do lookups for ALL of Nobles county, and for Rock county.  The names below include some spelling variations.

We are always looking for family histories to add to our collection.  If you have done a history or family tree chart and would like to send us a copy, we would greatly appreciate it.
